Welder Wildlife Foundation GT Field Trip

Our 1^st and 2^nd GT students spent the day at the Rob and Bessie Welder Wildlife Foundation right outside of Sinton. Students walked a trail and enjoyed the sights in a guided tour of the refuge. They learned about the water cycle, experienced perspiration first hand and completed a science experiment on transpiration. They also played a game to witness what happens when an animal’s resources are limited. Student were engaged throughout their learning experiences at the Welder Wildlife Foundation.
